The most popular cut it is also the only one that receives a grade from all the diamond laboratories. This can range from poor to excellent. Of the 4Cs it is the most crucial to the diamonds beauty, as the better the cut the more light enters the diamond and is reflected back to your eyes. We recommend only round brilliant cut diamonds with a very good to excellent cut grade according to G.I.A standards. This means its proportions are within strict parameters and it has a fine polish with symmetrical facets. The diamond will therefore have more brightness, fire and scintillation.

An ideal cut round brilliant is one with excellent proportions, polish and symmetry and all things being equal will be around 25% more valuable than a good cut.
