Asscher Cut Diamonds

This is a variation of the Emerald diamond cut being square in shape and has a smaller table and larger steps than an emerald cut. It features dramatic cut corners and has a higher crown and deeper pavilion. These features are not well defined so an Asscher cut diamond and square Emerald cut diamond are quite similar. If you are looking for this type of cut a square Emerald cut diamond that is well made is just as good an option.
